Once the owner of a successful Atlanta ad agency and a devoted husband and father, Tom Matte’s life took a dramatic turn 13 years ago when cocaine addiction led to mental illness and psychosis. After a long journey back to health and sobriety, he experienced a fundamental and positive shift in how his brain functions, changes that are now drawing the interest of doctors, neuroscientists, and academic researchers.
